Information - The project involved a close-to visual and tactile inspection of the pre-cast concrete cladding panels of two 1970s multi-storey block of flats, a typical exercise periodically required on buildings of this type and age. Minor work such as the removal of loose spall was carried out during the inspection. On completion, a summary report with photographic records was submitted to the Council.

The use of rope access for this type of work provides fast and flexible access over the building elevations and avoids the prohibitive expense of scaffolding for such short term requirements. Additionally, residents are spared the prolonged nuisance and inconvenience of scaffolding operations.
