Location - Waverly Rail Project  :  Client - Soil Mechanics

Information - Core samples were taken in 4 bridges as part of the survey to reintroduce the rail link between Edinburgh and Galashields.

These included coring on the ring arches, piers and abutments, some of which were over water. A Hilti diamond core drill was used with a RIG anchored in place by Hilti HUS Screws.

CAN Span was used in the ring arches to enable quick and easy access to the underside of the structure. Parapet clamps were also used, which eliminates the need for anchors to be drilled in to the structure and provides the technicians with a quick and easy access system.
