Information - CAN carried out delicate rock scaling of a blast damaged cutting above an electric substation. The controlled removal of loose fractured rock ensured no damage was sustained to sensitive switch gear. In addition Maccaferri special galvanised rock fall netting was installed to prevent any future debris from causing any damage, with larger blocks secured using 3m long rock dowels. This was an amalgamation of technical expertise and equipment between the CAN Group of Companies.
